It is not unusual for people to be unsure about the specifications of the printer and chamber when they are looking for end seals. If you call in, we will help. We have done it before.
Flexographic End Seals – Made in the USA!
We have various materials available for solvent, UV, water base and aggressive inks and coatings. Our seal clamps and spacers are either machined from billet aluminum or stainless steel. If softer plastics are desired we will supply the OEM material or customer requested materials.
In some cases our chamber and ink management personnel may travel on site to setup the best sealing techniques and solutions. We service all Flexo presses with chambers and we design splash guards and splash shields for Ward, Harper Machinery and other bottom printers.
How to get started
Here is how to get started! Send in a new end seal for measurements. We will send a questionnaire for you to answer which will help us to determine the right end seal material. Then we will send test end seals for trial. There is no cost for test seals or testing if your seal is currently in stock.
If a design, drawing or seal die is needed, you will be charged a small setup fee, refundable when 100 seals are ordered and delivered. Note: We supply treated seals and self- lube type seals for the water base ink industry. Our treated seals come in several styles and materials. If treated felt seals are desired please send in a new treated seal and the chamber manufacturer for proper treatment and fit. When requesting special laminated seal materials new drawings and testing will be necessary to be sure the right material is obtained.
The Flexo Factor also offers a full range of cleaning solutions and anilox cleaning brushes that have been developed to enhance the ultrasonic cleaning process. Our cleaning products are environmentally safe, ozone friendly, non-hazardous aqueous, (zero VOC) and solvent based solutions that have a low rate of evaporation. They are suitable for all ink & adhesives (UV-cured inks, water & solvent-based inks. Additionally, we offer manual cleaning products.
