Corrugated – Anilox Rejuveenation Kit

Designed specifically for todays Corrugated Printer for

enhanced graphics and maximum profitability

The challenge for every corrugated printer is how to ensure that each anilox is capable of consistent coating or ink release on a daily basis

Historically most companies rinse the anilox at the end of a run with fresh water or a combination of off the shelf detergents that are not designed for today’s ink and coating chemistries.

This leads to the anilox not being cleaned adequately and can result in uneven ink release and in turn inconsistent densities and poor graphic quality overall.

To try to overcome this, the operator will often adjust his run speeds, pressure settings between his anilox and plate, plate and board, and even adjust his ink.

All of this leads to significantly higher costs and reduced profitability,  delayed deliveries and unhappy customers.

Thankfully with our many years of experience and focused conversations with many plant and maintenance managers and not forgetting the operator we believe we can offer the solution.

We call it our Anilox Rejuvenation kit or A.R.K. for short.

Kit Includes

1 x 5 gallon bucket

1 gallon Xtraflex- HT25 concentrate

24  Erazor sponges

1 x 16oz bottle of Eliminator

1 x 20oz bottle of Rejuvenator

2 x microfiber finishing pads

How to use your kit

1. Take contents out of bucket provide
2. Empty contents of 1 gallon of Xtraflex-HT 25 into empty bucket and fill with water
3. Replace ink bucket with bucket of solution and carry our wash up cycle until roll is clear of any obvious surface coloration
4. If camouflaging, water stains, banding is seen embedded in the coating apply rejuvenator to entire roll surface using one of the Erazor sponges provided
5. Wipe roll with damp cloth and if marks still visible repeat rejuvenator application before again wiping to remove dissolved contaminants.
6. Finally apply the eliminator product again with an Erazor sponge and repeat if necessary before finally rinsing with fresh water and drying using one of the microfiber finishing pads.
